The Dove and the Lily
I wanted a sense of quietness and serenity. Yet, what is outside the window? The sky? The ocean? Or is it a curtain? Is it even a window at all? Perhaps, a painting within a painting. Acrylic on canvas, 2 feet x 4 feet.

Below, we have a natural progression. First, the knock on the door. Then, the handshake. Then, the hug. I suppose I should have made them consistent, i.e., the hug should have been a black and a white hug. But, I had my husband and son pose for that one. Perhaps I should revisit it.
