The last few weeks have been a tough haul with my Daily Draw Group. This week's theme is Horror. Last week's theme? Thriller. And the week before: Zombies. Yes, we've been on a Halloween kick. I signed up, I committed. So, deep breath. I hate zombies. Like Indie loathes snakes, I can't stand zombies. The only zombie movie I have ever thoroughly enjoyed was Sean of the Dead. A romantic comedy set in a zombie apocalypse.
Now, I'm not asking for cute little animal drawings for next week. But, I would like a break! How about landscapes?
So, Here are an assortment of drawings that I have done these last weeks. I'm not going to categorize them. I think Zombies, Thriller and Horror put together make up one big assignment. All of these were done on Sketch Club, and the Sketch Club community was, at the same time, having a Halloween contest and a Twilight Zone contest, so a few of these were entered in one or the other.  Elderly film noir detective |  "Laura" -- one of the greats of film noir. Gene Tierney played the title role, But here I cast myself as Laura. I actually was named after the movie. Which, if you sit down and watch it, is a little creepy. |

 The Beatles do "Thriller" -- Yes, anachronistic, I know. |  And, finally, "The Eye of the Hurricane." Surely, a horrifying event. |
